Easy Access

This may be my new favorite site.  I just typed in "music technology" on the site's search bar and it came up with a ton of results.  The following link is all about these new digital instruments that make life easier for composers.  It's complete with videos for each instrument to give an example of how they work and what kind of sound they produce.

Honestly, I can't wait to continue on to the next search result on this site! Yay for making new discoveries :)

  1. Arielle, thanks for the interesting link. Any thoughts on how you would incorporate any of these into your music classroom?

  2. Well I know that during my own personal experience in high school this would have come in handy in my Harmony and Theory class, where we not only learned about music theory but we also composed. If i had more to use than just a keyboard piano with different voice settings I'm sure a lot of my compositions would have been completed faster and with much more ease.

  3. Arielle,

how would you make accommodations for the students that are not as adept with technology as others? I know that in certain situations when teachers ask me use a certain program, and I get frustrated, I start to dislike what I am doing and interest goes down. When interest goes down, the learning potential also drops.
